How to Create the Perfect AI Companion on VelourCrush

VelourCrush's character creator lets you design a companion from scratch in four steps. Here is a complete guide.

Step 1: Style and Basics. Choose between anime and realistic art styles. Set your companion's name and age (must be 18 or older). Select her ethnicity. These choices shape the foundational visual identity of your companion.

Step 2: Appearance. Choose hair color, eye color, body type, and hair style. VelourCrush offers a wide range of options across all categories. The preview panel on the right updates as you make selections.

Step 3: Personality. Select up to 5 personality traits from our library — playful, romantic, dominant, shy, mysterious, and many more. Also choose her occupation, which shapes how she talks and what she references in conversation.

Step 4: Relationship. Choose the relationship dynamic — flirty stranger, devoted partner, childhood friend, forbidden love, and more. This shapes the emotional tone of every conversation.

After completing all four steps, click Preview to generate a free portrait of your companion. If you like what you see, click Create to finalize her. She will be added to your account and you can start chatting immediately.
